Bike Maintenance workshop - 22nd Feb

  • Dropbar Bike Repair Unit 14 Riverside Works Riverside Road, Watford WD19 4HY United Kingdom (map)

Welcome to our Bike Maintenance Workshop!

Join us at Dropbar Bike Repair for a hands-on session to learn how to keep your bike in top shape, keep yourself safe and make riding more enjoyable.

We'll cover essentials like the M check, identifying problems and quick solutions, and getting the most from your bike, as well as improving alignment and positioning.

Whether you want to learn to deal with a puncture quickly, or you want to be able to service your bike yourself, we're here to answer your questions and guide you on your way.

Our classes are small and informal meaning you can ask questions personal to your bike and riding style, get advice and recommendations.

Anyone who takes part in a workshop also gets:

  • 15% off any of our merchandise/maintenance kits etc

  • 10% off any services booked on the day

  • Free pastries and drinks

Why use us for a maintenance class?

We're a small, local family business who have just opened our workshop in Watford (we've lived here for over a decade!) and we're dedicated to providing a warm community environment for cyclists and would-be cyclists.

Whilst our services specialise in premium and high-end bikes, we're not snobbish, so whatever you're riding, we're here to help. And if you want top advice on how to get the most out of your bike, updating it and personalising it to you and your riding style, that's what we excel at!

We're also passionate about charity, and every month we donate 10% of our profits to a cancer charity. So you can be sure that by booking in with us you're doing something good!

How experienced are we?

Shaun has been in the bike trade for over ten years, and is an experienced mechanic who has worked on premium bikes in London, as well as gravel, mtb, road, hybrid, electric and anything else you can think of! Andi is a workshop facilitator who has run workshops and organised events for the last decade.

Together, we can make sure you know what you need to get the most out of your bike, get answers to your questions, retain that information, and most importantly, have fun!
